Alaska Cruise & Baseball Getaway in Seattle
Detroit Tigers at Seattle Mariners: August 13-15, 2027
T-Mobile Park | Seattle, Washington
Combine an Alaska cruise from Seattle with one or more games during the Detroit Tigers road series against the Seattle Mariners. Choose a cruise-first itinerary that ends before the baseball weekend or a baseball-first itinerary that sails after the first two games.
Every package is custom designed by Hubbard Sports Travel LLC around your preferred cruise, stateroom category, number of games, hotel level, transportation needs, sightseeing interests, departure city, and budget.
All cruise schedules, ports, game dates, game times, ticket inventory, hotel accommodations, and transportation arrangements are subject to availability and change until confirmed at booking. Same-day cruise and game combinations depend on final disembarkation, transfer, embarkation, and game times.
Cruise & Baseball Package Options
🥇 Cruise First - Royal Princess
Cruise: August 7-14, 2027
Baseball: August 14 and/or 15, 2027
This seven-night roundtrip Seattle Alaska itinerary includes Glacier Bay and returns Saturday morning. The August 14 game may be added only after the final game time and cruise arrival, disembarkation, transfer, and luggage arrangements are confirmed. The August 15 game provides the more comfortable post-cruise option.
Trip flow: Sail August 7; return to Seattle the morning of August 14; attend the August 14 game if timing permits; attend the August 15 game as an included or optional selection.
🥈 Cruise First - Norwegian Joy
Cruise: August 6-13, 2027
Baseball: August 13-15, 2027
This cruise-first option returns Friday morning and can be paired with the weekend series. The August 13 game is possible only if the final game time and disembarkation, transfer, luggage, and hotel arrangements allow sufficient time. August 14 and 15 provide more flexible game choices.
Trip flow: Sail August 6; return to Seattle the morning of August 13; attend the August 13 game if timing permits; select the August 14 and/or August 15 games.
🥇 Baseball First - Option 1: Star Princess
Baseball: August 13-14, 2027
Cruise: August 15-22, 2027
Attend the first two Tigers games before boarding a seven-night roundtrip Seattle Alaska cruise on August 15. Because embarkation and the series finale occur on the same date, the August 15 game is not included in this trip flow.
Trip flow: Attend the August 13 game; attend the August 14 game; board Star Princess on August 15; return to Seattle on August 22.
🥈 Baseball First - Option 2: Royal Caribbean Quantum of the Seas
Baseball: August 13-15, 2027
Cruise: August 16-23, 2027
Attend all three Tigers games before boarding a seven-night roundtrip Seattle Alaska cruise on August 16. The Monday departure allows travelers to enjoy the Sunday series finale, stay overnight in Seattle, and transfer to the cruise terminal the following day.
Trip flow: Attend the August 13 game; attend the August 14 game; attend the August 15 series finale; board Quantum of the Seas on August 16; return to Seattle on August 23.
Celebrity Edge - Current Schedule Conflict
Celebrity Edge is not currently compatible with a baseball-first August 15 departure. Its verified 2027 Seattle sailing is August 13-20, which overlaps the Tigers series. Hubbard Sports Travel LLC can monitor schedule changes or quote Celebrity Edge for a different travel period, but it should not be presented as an August 15-22 option.

Destination Guide
Seattle & Alaska Cruise Gateway Destination Guide
Seattle combines Major League Baseball, waterfront scenery, distinctive neighborhoods, museums, local seafood, coffee culture, and convenient access to Alaska cruises. Many signature attractions are located near downtown, Seattle Center, the waterfront, or the stadium district, making the city well suited for a customized cruise and baseball getaway.
T-Mobile Park
Home of the Seattle Mariners, T-Mobile Park is in Seattle's stadium district south of downtown. Its retractable roof is designed to cover the playing field while preserving an open-air atmosphere. Game times, entry requirements, bag policies, and transportation details should be reviewed shortly before game day because operating information may change.
Seattle Cruise Terminals
Seattle cruise departures generally use terminals at Pier 66 or Pier 91, depending on the cruise line and sailing. Confirm the terminal assignment in final cruise documents and allow generous time for hotel checkout, luggage handling, traffic, security, and embarkation.
Top Seattle Experiences
- Pike Place Market: Explore local vendors, specialty foods, seafood, flowers, restaurants, and the market's famous atmosphere.
- Space Needle: Take in panoramic views of downtown Seattle, Elliott Bay, and the surrounding mountains.

Weather and Packing
August in Seattle is often mild to warm, while Alaska cruise ports and glacier-viewing areas can be cooler, windy, and wet. Pack layers, comfortable walking shoes, rain protection, sun protection, and binoculars if desired. Review the current weather forecast, cruise-line packing guidance, and T-Mobile Park bag policy before departure.
Getting Around
Depending on your hotel, downtown attractions and T-Mobile Park may be reached by walking, public transportation, rideshare, taxi, or prearranged private transportation. Cruise-terminal transfers should be planned separately because terminal locations vary. Allow additional time on embarkation, disembarkation, and game days.
